Spirit Women

Sharing Wisdom

Evolving 2023

Smudging Goddesses are natural figures created to enhance your sacred space.
I invite you to experience their earthy softness and wisdom that radiates a gentle serenity. They are female figures with the appearance of a blanket wrapped woman participating in the Cleansing Ceremony of Smudging.

Each Goddesses is a one of a kind original sculpture. They are made from needle-felted* natural fibers such as wool or llama and they stand on stones whose surfaces I have gently hand polished. Each one has a small acorn bowl holding a hand-wrapped sage bundle, grounding stone and a wafting feather. Their faces are my own original designs formed from my air-dry clay recipe.

I offer my Smudging Goddess to you and wish them well in their journey to find new homes with like-hearted women. I hope you find one that speaks to you in the calm wisdom they have share with me.

Please scroll down to visit with each Goddesse, where you will find her description and price. You can click to enlarge each picture. I've given them name attributes for the purpose of identifying them but I think the one you choose will probably let you know her real name.

If you would like one of these Ladies of Serenity to come live with you please drop me an email at Karmaveranda@hotmail.com to make arrangements. You'll find payment and shipping information is at the bottom of the page.

*Needle Felting:
My Needle Felted Sculptures are formed with natural fibers and a felting needle. The needle is long and sharp with barbs cut into the shaft and a bent hook at the top. The needle is driven though the fibers catching the hairs in the barbs and dragging them into the bulk of the fiber. This action is repeated thousands of times to compact the fibers into a sculpture.
